Wan^shige Dahe
Census 1870-1880

Ioway Census of 1880, Jimm G. GoodTracks. (PDF)

This listing of Ioway community members in 1880 includes family ancestors of both the Oklahoma and Kansas-Nebraska divisions. A similar handwritten list exists for the Otoe-Missouria which remains to be editing. The use for comparison of both tribal listings are appropriate due to the high and frequent interaction and intermarriage between the communities. This is reflected and noted on the Ioway census. It is further noted that there are some known individuals who would have been expected to appear on the census list, but were absent. There is no explanation for the void.
